We have a family tradition in our family to play "BUG" on Christmas Eve. This year we got to go to Aunt Debbie's to play. Although her way to play is on steroids :) which was a BLAST! BUG is a white elephant game. There are the same number of gifts as people and your goal is to draw a bug depending on what number the dice rolled. When you compete drawing a bug, you yell "bug" and you get to choose or STEAL (being the key word in this game) a gift from the center of wrapped gifts or take one that someone else has. For example you can't start drawing your bug till you roll a 1 - the body of the bug. In the Thomas family we don't unwrap our gifts until the very end when all the gifts are out of the center. The Huff way is unwrapping the gift as soon as you get it. So we know what we are fighting for. Also "we" always do like $ store or gag gifts and everyone brings one.... But Debbie bought ALL the gifts and they were awesome!! I ended up with a PINK victoria secret bag. There were awesome socks, iTunes card, a cool monkey hat, angry bird stuffed animal, rubber chicken, Yoda flash drive, surfer nutcracker, spiderman journal, frog "piggy" bank, Cars Lightening MaQueen car, and a Christmas DVD pack. (i think that's all) there was a HUGE fight (like 7 fights) over the socks, monkey hat and pink purse. I was going to try for the Yoda flash drive but my dad threatened my life and also that he would take Blayze's Lightening MaQueen car from him. So I didn't even attempt with such threats to my child ;) here are some fun photos......
